Fabric

Soft stretch mesh became a fashion favorite in the late 20th century, adapted from performance wear into ready-to-wear for its breathable feel and sculpting quality. While medieval garments were layered and heavy, this fabric offers the opposite: a light, stretchy weave that feels delicate against the skin. Ours is crafted from 90% nylon and 10% spandex for the perfect amount of give. To care for your bloomers and ensure they last a lifetime, simply bring out a pail of water and your washboard (or a modern sink might just do the trick…) and hand-wash in cold water and hang to dry. Dry cleaning works as well!
